About our Parish On 1 July 2005 Corpus Christi Parish commenced, following the realignment of Holy Family Parish, Gowrie and St Francis of Assisi Parish, Calwell.

Corpus Christi Parish is situated in the southern part of the ACT and takes in the following suburbs: Banks, Calwell, Chisholm, Conder, Fadden, Gilmore, Gordon, Gowrie, Isabella Plains , Macarthur, Richardson , Theodore, Tharwa & Rural Surrounds.

This money will help to support the building of the extensions to the Holy Family Church and will also help five local charities continue their work: Karinya House for Mothers and Babies; L’Arche; At Home Project in Queanbeyan; Centacare, Migrant and Refugee Program and Marymead Indigenous Program. Over the next year we hope to raise $50000 to assist with the building program and also donate $50000 to these local charities. This is an important way of helping to build a stronger faith community. If people want to contribute money to this project please fill out the One to One forms available in the foyer and return to the parish office or in the collection bags.
